Task 4: Using your data as a group your task is to analyze your data and determine the 3 most important aspects of each topic you have. Students will also research online existing criteria in judging the liveability of cities to help in their decision making process. Their final aspects will be presented to the class to create a criteria list of the most important aspects in determining how liveable a city is.

Task 5: Students will visit the CBD. Using the class criteria list students will work in their groups to determine how liveable Melbourne is. They will assess this using the factors they have determined to be the most significant. They will also interview Melbournians using their criteria list to see how others judge the city on the liveability factors they have chosen. Students will then present their findings to the class, together we will analyze the data and each group will then write a conclusion as to their final judgment on the liveability of Melbourne.

Below is the crtieria list the students groups have drawn up. Each group had to assess which were the 3 most important aspects or factors for the two areas they were responsible for. Along with this they were to add 2 factors which were not covered by any group like employment, hardship levels, cost of living, events, its diversity and how connected it was with the rest of the world etc.
